The movie
Ouroboros is a hybrid project, starting out as a classic fiction movie, that ends up merging with a live event, entirely filmed, with 20 unprepared guests having to collaborate to solve a plot.
This was produced with <10k€. I built a team of 12+ technicians and casted 9 comedians, planned & ran 14 days of shooting over of 6 months, in 6 places.
We also created from scratch a 2.5 hours "escape room" in a 27-room castle, with over 150 items & props, including 45 clues, in 18 locations.
Comedians were complicit in the investigation,
interacting directly with the players as seen in immersive plays.

Beware of unexpected gifts
Ivan and Wendy have found the perfect getaway weekend from Paris to celebrate their honeymoon: a lovely medieval Castle in a remote area.
However, when they arrive, it doesn't seem like they were expected.
Or rather, expected in the way they thought....
Ouroboros was initially a hybrid project, starting out as a classic fiction movie, that ended up merging with a live escape game, entirely filmed, with 20 unprepared guests having to collaborate to solve a plot.
After the event, it was decided that the live footage was inexploitable. The scenario was written anew, and the project is now a full-length feature film.
Inspirations are drawn from dark & esoteric movies such as Fincher, Kubrick, and genre horror movies.
The project was produced with <10k€. I built a team of 15 technicians, casted 10+ comedians, planned & ran 15 days of shooting over of 1 year.
